UltraCool Oil Cooler Mounting Upgrade – “Naked” Version
In late 2025, UltraCool introduced a major upgrade to the mounting system for all “Naked” (no cover) oil cooler models. This affordable improvement delivers a big boost in mounting stability while making installation significantly easier—especially on M8 Touring models with a chopped engine guard.

High-Rigidity Frame Clamps
The new clamps are more robust and finished in a sleek black coating featuring a subtle UltraCool logo. Designed for improved strength and long-term durability. -
Stud-Mount Installation
Instead of traditional bolts, the Naked UltraCool now uses pre-installed red threadlocked studs (red threadlocker included). These slide through the frame clamps and are secured with nylock nuts—making installation quicker, cleaner, and more secure.

3/4″ & 1 3/8″ Clamp Kit
For M8 Touring models with an H-D chopped engine guard or similarly height aftermarket crash bar. This kit also come with a small peel and stick neoprene pad for the bottom corner of the cooler to cushion between the frame and the cooler.

M8 Touring & Softail models using two 1 3/8″ frame clamps (SMT8-3, SMS8-7N)

1 1/4″ Clamp Kit
For Twin Cam models with 1 1/4″ frame tubes, including FXR, Softail, and Touring models from 1984–2008.

For Dyna models with 1 1/2″ frame tube diameter.
(Note: Some older Dyna models use step-down tubes—call us if you need a mixed-size clamp set.)
